Contributing to the Cornerstone Foundation: An Easy Decision |

By Brian Morley, Vice President, Morley Hoppner Group We are very proud to be the Construction Managers for the new Cornerstone Housing for Women project and also with our association with the Cornerstone Foundation. The Applause Party was a capital gathering and was an appropriate means to celebrate the completion of the project. Contributing to the Cornerstone Foundation was an easy decision for our firm as we have all been emotionally touched by women at some point in our lives, whether it be by our wives, mothers, daughters, sisters, grandmothers, friends or other relatives. In this light, it is very difficult to envision a loved one, or close friend or relative, being or becoming homeless. One can only imagine the heartbreak involved with the ordeal. All of the firms employed on the project have donated to the Foundation in some form or another. A total of $30,000 was raised just from the project partners alone which is gratifying for everyone at Morley Hoppner Group.
